Wenn Sie diesen Satz verstehen, sind Sie auf meiner deutschen Homepage weit besser aufgehoben.
I welcome you to my homepage, visitor number 130890. Let me say with all due respect that it is a very courageous decision to read the English version.
When not working as a programmer at the Acoustics Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, or managing the Erpelstolz Canned Worms business, I teach Unix courses or ponder ideas for my Gateway to Logic and deal with change requests and users' wishes. For quite some time there have been my introductory courses in logic at the Department of Philosopy at the University of Vienna. In recent years I have found out that linguistics is much more fun than philosophy. One result of this enlightment is my simple LCA checker that does nothing useful at all but was a lot of fun writing.
I compiled some information on my logic courses, my introductory text book, and on some other important things in life, like Linux, logics, philosophy and software history. Probably this information won't be useful to you since, with the exception of my logic page, I wrote it in German, the language I can speak. If you are not afraid of nouns of impressive length, you could take a look at my more complete German homepage.
My Gateway to Logic that displays several kinds of logical diagrams and performs various other logical functions has been rated "top 25%" by JARS and was considered cool by Gamelan. Although the GUI-based functions require Java, there is a lot of functionality available even if you are using a text-based browser; so please give it a try and feel free to tell me your opinion about the Gateway - indeed, I welcome any kind of feedback.
