I welcome you to my homepage, visitor number 141384.
When not working at the Acoustics Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, or managing the Erpelstolz Canned Worms business, I teach Unix courses or ponder ideas for my Gateway to Logic. For quite some time there have been my introductory courses in logic at the Department of Philosopy at the University of Vienna. During the course of my studies I found linguistics to be much more fun than philosophy. One result of this enlightment was my simple LCA checker that does nothing useful at all but was a lot of fun writing.
On these pages you will find some information on my logic courses and introductory text book. Probably this information won't be useful to you since I wrote it in German, the language I speak. If you speak German, you might want to have a look at my slightly more comprehensive German homepage.
My Gateway to Logic that displays several kinds of logical diagrams and performs various other logical functions has been rated "top 25%" by the late JARS (a reviewed collection of Java resources). Although the GUI-based functions require Java, there is a lot of functionality available even if you are using a text-based browser; so please give it a try.
